Privacy Policy

We collect information directly from you, from your device, and from service providers used to operate the platform.

• Account data. Your email address, password credential data, account role, and profile details you choose to provide.
• Fraud and integrity signals. A hashed IP address, a hashed device fingerprint, login and session metadata, and abuse-prevention signals generated during platform use.
• Behavioral telemetry. Mouse, keyboard, click, touch, scroll, focus, and form-interaction patterns collected during survey completion to assess response quality and detect automation. We do not record the actual text of what you type as behavioral telemetry.
• Survey and demographic data. Your survey answers, profile-question responses, demographic information, and quality or fraud scores linked to survey participation.
• Payments and payout onboarding data. Information required to pay participants or onboard payout recipients through Stripe Connect, such as connected-account status and payout identifiers.

We process personal information to operate SenMetriq, secure the platform, and deliver survey and payout functionality.

• Account verification. To create accounts, confirm email ownership, authenticate users, and secure access.
• Fraud prevention. To prevent duplicate accounts, automated submissions, payout abuse, spam, and other platform misuse.
• Survey quality assurance. To evaluate response integrity, detect low-quality or synthetic behavior, and preserve trustworthy datasets for researchers.
• Payment processing. To issue participant payouts, reconcile balances, and satisfy payment-compliance obligations.
• Service operations. To troubleshoot issues, maintain platform security, communicate with users, and improve product performance.

When you complete a survey, SenMetriq may analyze behavioral telemetry to protect the platform against fraud and preserve response quality.

• What we collect. Interaction timing and motion patterns such as mouse movement, click timing, keystroke timing, scroll cadence, focus changes, and form-interaction events. We do not collect the actual text you type as part of this telemetry.
• Why we collect it. To detect automated responses, reduce fraud, and flag low-integrity submissions before they affect survey results or payouts.
• How long we keep it. Raw telemetry is processed for scoring and then discarded. After scoring, we retain only anonymized or derived quality/fraud outputs needed to administer the survey and audit integrity decisions.
• Sharing. The raw behavioral telemetry stream is not shared with third parties.

SenMetriq uses only the cookies and tokens needed to operate securely.

• Session cookie. Keeps you signed in and associates requests with your active session.
• CSRF token. Protects forms and authenticated actions against cross-site request forgery.

We do not use these cookies to serve third-party advertising.

We share information only as needed to run the platform, process payouts, and comply with law.

• Stripe. We use Stripe and Stripe Connect for payout onboarding, payment operations, and related compliance checks.
• Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare for edge security, performance, bot mitigation, and abuse detection.
• Email provider. We use an email delivery provider to send verification messages, account notices, and service updates.
• Survey sponsors and researchers. Researchers receive survey responses, demographic answers, and quality-related signals needed to administer their studies, but not your password, full payment credentials, or the raw behavioral telemetry stream.
• Legal and security disclosures. We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or a good-faith need to protect users, SenMetriq, or the public.

We do not sell personal information or use your data for third-party advertising.

We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this Policy.

• Account data. Kept while your account remains active and for a limited period afterward as needed for fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, or dispute resolution.
• Account deletion. When you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your account data within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required or necessary to prevent fraud or enforce our terms.
• Survey responses. Retained in anonymized or aggregated form so researchers and SenMetriq can preserve study results and audit integrity.
• Behavioral telemetry. Raw telemetry used for scoring is discarded after scoring or validation workflows, while derived fraud or quality scores may be retained with the survey response.

Depending on your location, you may have rights over your personal information. SenMetriq supports the following requests:

• Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction. Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion. Request erasure of personal information, including rights consistent with GDPR Article 17, subject to legal and fraud-prevention exceptions.
• Data portability. Request a portable copy of information you provided to us where applicable.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and you should also protect your credentials and devices.

SenMetriq may process information in the United States and in other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. When we do so, we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the transfer.
