Terms of Service

By creating or using a SenMetriq account, you agree to these Terms and represent that you are legally able to enter into a binding contract.

• Minimum age. You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.
• One account per person. Each person may maintain only one SenMetriq account unless we expressly approve otherwise in writing.
• Real email required. You must register with a valid email address you control and keep your account information accurate.
• Account security. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

Researchers are responsible for the surveys they publish and for the legality of the studies they run.

• Survey content responsibility. You are solely responsible for your survey design, disclosures, incentive structure, and any instructions or content submitted through the platform.
• No illegal or harmful studies. You may not create surveys that are unlawful, deceptive, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, exploitative, or otherwise harmful.
• Required rights and permissions. You must have the rights needed to publish your survey materials and collect the information requested in your study.
• Compliance obligations. You are responsible for obtaining any ethics approvals, consents, or regulatory notices your study requires.

Participants must answer honestly and use the platform in good faith.

• Honest responses required. You must provide genuine, complete, and non-automated responses.
• No fraud or manipulation. You may not use bots, scripts, VPN farms, identity misrepresentation, duplicate accounts, or coordinated abuse to access surveys or payouts.
• Profile accuracy. Your demographic and profile information must be truthful and kept reasonably current.
• Fraud consequences. If we determine that you engaged in fraud or material deception, we may permanently ban your account and forfeit any unpaid balance associated with the misconduct.

Participant payouts are subject to account standing, anti-fraud review, and the payout tools we support.

• Minimum payout balance. You must have at least $10.00 in available balance before requesting or receiving a payout.
• Processing time. Once approved, payouts are typically initiated within a reasonable processing window, but actual receipt depends on banking rails, Stripe, and compliance review.
• Stripe Connect required. Where SenMetriq requires payout onboarding, you must complete Stripe Connect setup and provide any information Stripe or SenMetriq reasonably requests.
• Adjustments and holds. We may delay, reverse, reduce, or withhold payouts where required for fraud review, chargebacks, legal compliance, tax reporting, or survey disputes.

We may take action to protect the platform, researchers, and participants.

• Account suspension. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, or interfere with the integrity or security of the platform.
• Survey removal. We may reject, pause, or remove any survey at any time, including for policy, quality, legal, or operational reasons.
• Payout and pricing changes. We may modify payout rules, eligibility standards, or compensation structures prospectively as the platform evolves.
• Service changes. We may update, discontinue, or limit features, survey availability, matching logic, fraud controls, or integrations without guaranteeing continued availability of any specific workflow.

SenMetriq is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

• No earnings guarantee. We do not guarantee that participants will qualify for surveys, receive a minimum number of opportunities, or earn any specific amount.
• No uninterrupted service warranty. We do not warrant that the platform will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every threat.
• Liability cap. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SenMetriq and MJ Ventures LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to SenMetriq or these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, except that either party may seek relief in small claims court or equitable relief for misuse of intellectual property, confidential information, or platform security.

The arbitration will be administered in English under the applicable rules of the American Arbitration Association. You and SenMetriq waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the revised Terms on this page and notify registered users by email before or when the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
